- It is your responsibility to read the lab manual, visit this website and download presentations and take notes during lectures. You will be responsible for information from all these sources.
- If you expect to do well in this course, you should read ahead and be prepared for class ahead of time. Reading ahead will prepare you for the day's quizes as well as prepare you to do the experiment properly and safely.
- This is a science lab, you may find yourself working with hazardous substances, reading the manual ahead of time will ensure you know how to handle these substances.
- Don't be late, as you will miss quizes (which consitute a good percentage of your grade)
- Part of being prepared for lab, is to have the lab manual on hand. No sharing of lab manuals will be permitted.
- Please be courteous and respectfull to both the instructors and your fellow students.
- No cell phones in class, if you have a call that you must take, please go exit the classroom to answer it.

Every week, except Weeks 1, 6, and 12 class will begin with a short quiz. Each quiz will contain questions from both the previous week's lab, and the lab in which you about to participate. In other words, students who come to lab prepared will do well on quizes and thus in class.
